Job Title: Finance Manager Required
Job Location: Greater Accra
Job Description: Oversee the overall corporate budgeting preparation, management and monitoring processes.
Perform financial analysis, reporting and management activities.
Ensure that the financial reports are prepared and delivered on time.
Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness.
Hire and train new employees on financial operations.
Monitor and manage all expense within the allotted budget.
Establish key financial strategies to enhance business profitability.
Ensure financial team follows company policies and regulations.
Develop standard accounting procedures to improve financial operations efficiency.
Participate in performance evaluation of finance staff and conduct counseling sessions to identify skill development needs.
Review annual budgets and recommend any changes if needed.
Assist in account payable and receivable activities.
Perform account reconciliation activities.
Generate financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.
Ensure accurate calculation and distribution of salaries and other benefits to employees.
Establish accurate forecasts regarding expenses and revenues and manage regular reporting requirements.
Monitor competitor activity and stay updated about latest industry trends.
Qualification and Requirements:
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance and 3-4 years of financial management and accounting experience or part two qualification in ACCA,CA will be desired
Track record of increased responsibility in financial management
Technical skills required to meet position objectives
Knowledge of procurement and contracting, negotiating
Knowledge of general ledger accounting, cost control, treasury(cash management and banking)financial planning and budgeting, reporting principles including generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to support management with investment appraisal and decision making
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
Knowledge of applicable local financial tax regulations
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports statement and projections
Reporting information and communicating MI-External reporting
Computer kills proficiency in MS Office suite especially excel
Personal skills and attribute required to meet positin objective
Strong performance bias to act under own initiative
Managing relationship and building partnership internal relationships
Ability to motivate teams to produce for high performance
Ability to facilitate and deliver training to financial team
Decision making skills
