Bishop Charles Agyinasare, founder and leader of Perez Chapel International, is 55 years old today, Wednesday March 22.
The bishop’s birthday coincides with the 30-year anniversary of Perez Chapel, which he set up on his 25th birthday.
Bishop Agyinasare is the founder of Precious TV, Chancellor of the Perez University College, and author of several Christian books.
In 2007, Bishop Agyinasare received a national award – the Member of the Order of the Volta (MV) – awarded to him by former President John Agyekum Kufuor, for his outstanding achievements in championing African excellence as a religious leader.
In 2015, Bishop Agyinasare was awarded the Global Leadership Award from Regent University, USA, by Professor Clifton Clarke in recognition of his efforts in raising leaders across the world and for his impact across the globe. He has been given declarations from the state of Texas and is an honorary citizen of Texas.
As part of activities to mark the church’s 30th anniversary, Bishop Agyinasare and wife Rev Mrs Vivian Agyinasare have lined up an array of prominent Ghanaian preachers for a week-long spiritual gathering.
