Former Foreign Affairs minister, Hanna Tetteh, could not hide her joy after Hearts of Oak recorded a “sweet” 1-0 victory over rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The Rainbow club ended Kotoko’s eight-year dominance at the Accra Sports Stadium, thanks to a late Vincent Atinga penalty.
Although the penalty call by referee Samuel Sukah generated controversy, Hearts of Oak held on to run out as winners over their eternal rivals.
And the victory appears to have capped the perfect day for most Hearts fans – including former Foreign Affairs minister, Hanna Tetteh.
